Paul Pierce's ex seeks $40,000 in new court filing

Princess Santiago says the NBA veteran still has not produced the financial records she asked for, per a motion TMZ obtained.

Paul Pierce's ex, Princess Santiago, says he still has not produced the financial records she asked for, according to a motion TMZ obtained.

**Reported by TMZ:** the filing, the amounts in it and the August order. The missing-records claims are Santiago's, made in court.

Her list of what she says is still missing from his disclosures:

  • Full pages of his bank statements
  • Information on his trust distributions and other assets
  • Records tied to his cannabis company
  • Data on his Fox Sports 1 income
  • His stake in a commercial property

The motion also says the $10,000 Pierce was ordered to pay for a forensic accountant has not been handed over. Santiago is asking for $40,000 in additional legal fees, plus that $10,000.

What is already on the record

Their son is King Rafael Santiago Pierce. TMZ reported in August that Pierce was ordered to pay $8,508 a month in temporary child support, plus $100,000 toward Santiago's legal fees.

Santiago has claimed Pierce earned more than $200 million during his NBA career, per TMZ. Pierce told the court, per TMZ, that his income no longer resembles his playing days, and he asked that any payments he is ordered to make reflect that.

Why this one matters

A disclosure fight is the paperwork underneath a support case: bank pages, trust records, income statements. New fee requests tend to arrive when there is more work still to do. On this filing, $40,000 for lawyers and $10,000 for an accountant is the clearest sign that the numbers are still being argued over.

Two of the five items point at income streams rather than accounts, the cannabis company and the Fox Sports 1 work, which is where a forensic review would start.

Santiago's motion is about the inputs, not the ending. The $8,508 figure from August is what the record shows so far.
