LA Knight Says Roman Reigns Match Could Be His Last Shot
The 20-year veteran told TMZ that Saturday's Money in the Bank match might be his final chance at a WWE world championship.

LA Knight has spent 20 years in professional wrestling without winning a WWE world championship. He told TMZ’s “Inside the Ring” podcast that Saturday’s Money in the Bank match against Roman Reigns could be his last shot.
“I’ve probably kind of framed it that way a little bit because it just feels like ... is it my last one ever? I don’t know,” Knight said. “It could be, who knows?”
Knight said the pressure comes from chasing the one accomplishment that has kept eluding him.
“So many people ask, like, how has LA Knight not been world champion yet?” Knight said. “It’s almost like, put up or shut up, do or die. This is the time to do it. And if it doesn’t happen here, it’s just kind of like, where do I go from here?”
Even if Knight beats Reigns, his night might not be over. A Money in the Bank briefcase is on the line, and the winner can cash it in later that night. Knight said he can’t think about that yet.
“I gotta focus on getting the damn thing first before I worry about anybody cashing in on me,” Knight said.
He warned it would be “a bad idea” for someone to go after him if he’s still standing, saying a challenger might “eat” a shot from the championship belt.
TMZ reports “WWE Money in the Bank” takes place Saturday, Oct. 10, in New Orleans, with the show streaming on the ESPN App at 6 p.m. ET. Listen to the full conversation on TMZ’s “Inside the Ring.”
