Elon Musk Cut Off Daughter’s Insurance After She Came Out, Per Ex-Wife

Justine Wilson describes the billionaire’s private response to Vivian Wilson’s transition — including a phone call and a health insurance cancellation the next day, TMZ reports.

Elon Musk’s first wife, Justine Wilson, is lifting the curtain on how the billionaire handled his daughter Vivian’s transition behind closed doors, TMZ reports. In the upcoming documentary “Musk,” Wilson says the X owner treated the transition as the “death of a child.” She also reveals the precise sequence of events after Vivian came out: Musk told Wilson to relay “I’ll always love her” to their daughter — then cut off Vivian’s health insurance the next day.

Wilson told the documentary crew, per TMZ, that Musk never tried to repair the relationship. “That’s not in his nature,” she said. She described Vivian as being in “pain” when Musk publicly posted that he’d lost her to the “woke mind virus.” The public statement and the private action line up in a brutal way: the love was performative, the punishment was real.

Vivian Wilson has since distanced herself in the most visible way possible — she dropped the Musk surname and appeared in a series of anti–A.I. ads. In one, she says, “Some things aren’t meant to be fixed.”

If your love comes with a 24-hour expiration on insurance, that’s not love. That’s a conditional cease-fire. And the ceasefire was called off before the message even landed.
