Taylor Swift's $1,290 'Patient Zero' loafers, $19 lookalike

Us Weekly found a $19 dupe for the shoes Swift wears in the 'Patient Zero' music video.

In the "Patient Zero" music video, Taylor Swift wears The Row's light yellow Soft Moccasin loafers with an oversized cream sweater and matching trousers. Us Weekly pegged those shoes at $1,290 and then found a $19 alternative on Amazon.

The Cushionaire Gramercy Slip-On Loafer is available in sand, a shade close to Swift's, plus cream, mauve and other colors. It has a square toe, stitched detailing and a back pull tab, with memory foam inside. Per Us Weekly, shoppers are already eyeing them for fall.

One reviewer called them "perfect for fall," adding that they're "so stylish" and "designed well." Another said they're "casual and comfortable" but can be "dressed up a little for business."

The math is the story here. A $1,290 loafer is a flex; a $19 lookalike is a way to wear the same pale neutral silhouette without the invoice. It won't age like The Row, but it doesn't have to.
