Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Celebrate His 37th Birthday in NYC

The couple stepped out for a romantic dinner at a Michelin-starred Italian spot in SoHo.

Us Weekly reports that Taylor Swift and her husband, Travis Kelce, marked his 37th birthday with a date night in New York City on Monday, Oct. 5. Photos published by People showed the pair stepping out of an SUV on Mulberry Street in SoHo, heading into Torrisi, an Italian restaurant from chef Mario Carbone that earned a Michelin Star in 2023.

Swift wore a leather bomber jacket over a black dress with lace trim. Kelce chose a dark cardigan with charcoal pants and leather shoes. The timing works well for the Kansas City Chiefs tight end: his team has a bye week, so he gets a break before they face the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, Oct. 18, at Arrowhead Stadium.

New York City holds a special place for the couple. They got married at Madison Square Garden on July 3, with digital billboards around the arena announcing they were "JUST&T MARRIED" during the ceremony. Kelce later told reporters at Chiefs training camp on Aug. 12 that the wedding was "the best night of my life" and that he appreciated everyone who came out, according to Us Weekly.

Kelce also opened up about the venue, saying at the press conference that he always told himself he would go to a playoff game when the Knicks were rocking, but he was stuck in minicamp. "It's kind of cool to get to live out my childhood dream of being in that venue, the mecca of all sports venues, being able to get married in there," he said.

Last weekend, Swift skipped the Chiefs' road game against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, Oct. 4. That made sense: she had appeared on Saturday Night Live the night before, popping up during Dakota Johnson's monologue and surprising Johnson with a birthday cake during the goodnights segment.
