Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's Neighbors Oppose Fence

The couple's plan for a privacy fence at their Ohio lake home has stirred up opposition from locals, according to TMZ.

TMZ reports that the privacy fence Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce want to build at their Cleveland-area lake house has stirred up opposition from neighbors, culminating in a meeting of an Architectural Review Board about a month ago.

The proposed fence is 6 feet tall, black, and made of powder-coated aluminum. According to transcripts from the meeting obtained by TMZ, the fence would be set 2 feet inside the property line to stay clear of sewer lines. The couple also plans to plant trees extensively, likely for extra privacy.

One neighbor, Katherine Bolton, is particularly concerned about the sewer line and whether the trees will be far enough from it. She also made a comment indicating she's not convinced Swift will stick around, saying "this applicant may decide to sell her house next year."

Other neighbors worry about the local deer population, with one raising the possibility of a deer getting impaled on a fence post.

Swift and Kelce have had a busy year: they got married in July and Kelce is currently leading the Chiefs to a strong season. But it seems not all of Ohio is on board with their new presence, per TMZ.
