Prince Harry booed during surprise rugby outing
The Duke of Sussex made a low-key appearance at a Leicester vs. Gloucester match Friday and was met with boos when he appeared on the big screen.

Prince Harry attended a Leicester vs. Gloucester rugby match Friday, per Page Six. He was not with Meghan Markle and was reportedly having a beer with Leicester chief executive Andrea Pinchen when the venue's big screen showed his face. Some spectators booed, and TNT commentator Nick Mullins acknowledged it: "Some boos there," he said, per APF.
The moment adds another date to the public timeline of Harry's strained relationship with his family. Since he and Markle stepped back as senior working royals in 2020 and moved to California, the rift has been extensively documented — including in the couple's 2022 Netflix series "Harry & Meghan" and Harry's 2023 memoir "Spare," where he aired grievances publicly.
Page Six previously reported in August that Harry and Meghan planned to return to the UK with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, for an extended period to be closer to King Charles, who is undergoing cancer treatment. But the return has been bumpy: their children were enrolled in a $35,000-a-year prep school and pulled out after two days due to a security risk.
Now, a source told Page Six that the Sussexes have no plans to join the royal family for Christmas at Sandringham this year. The decision comes as royal experts dismissed rumors that Harry and Meghan were planning an apology to William and Kate to end the feud. That one? Reported, but not confirmed.
