Amber Heard Completes First Half-Marathon in Spain

Amber Heard has given fans a rare update on her life in Spain, revealing she completed her first half-marathon.

The 40-year-old actress posted three photos on Instagram on Monday, October 5, showing herself in stride, at the finish line, and celebrating with arms raised. She captioned the post "Eskerrik asko Donosti !💕," which translates to "thank you, Donosti," the coastal city where she ran.

Heard wrote that she covered 21 kilometers in 1:39 minutes. The images captured her in a lilac sports bra and matching bike shorts, looking exhilarated and spent.

The race milestone comes three months after she first documented her running journey in June. Heard has been focusing on her new hobby since relocating to Spain from the U.S. following her highly-publicized defamation trial with ex-husband Johnny Depp.

In 2022, Depp sued Heard over a 2018 Washington Post op-ed. A jury awarded him $15 million in damages. Heard moved to Spain with her daughter, Oonagh Paige, now 5. She later welcomed twins, Agnes and Ocean, via surrogate in 2025.

A source told Us Weekly in June 2023 that Heard is "living her best life" and has been "so much happier" since moving overseas. The source added that getting away from the Hollywood noise has been healthy, though she is still recovering from the trauma of the trial.

Heard marked Mother's Day 2025 by announcing the twins, writing on Instagram that she was "elated beyond words" to complete the family she had strived to build for years.
