Southern Charm Season 12: Love Child Rumors and Hookups

The trailer for the new season dropped Monday, and Bravo is teasing a possible love child, hookups between exes, and a lot of yelling.

The first trailer for Southern Charm season 12 arrived Monday, October 5, and Us Weekly reports that Whitney Sudler-Smith kicks things off by telling the group there's an elephant in the room. “The assumption is that one of you has a love child,” he says in the clip.

Madison LeCroy asks if there's a picture, and newcomer Allie Newman, a friend of Venita Aspen's and a former flame of Austen Kroll's, replies, “I'll show the baby.” That line is a Rumor for now; nothing is confirmed by the network or cast.

The rest of the trailer is a tangle of hookups and confrontations. Austen Kroll, 39, is seen hanging out with Molly O'Connell, which makes Salley Carson, 31, lose her temper. “The fact that you went home with Austen is f***ing crazy,” she tells Molly, 38, per Us Weekly. Molly reminds her they're both single, and Austen tells Salley, “It's not your business. You and I? Cut the f*** off.”

The Shep and Taylor Storyline

Shep Rose gets a text from ex Taylor Ann Green, and the two reunite over drinks. Craig Conover calls the move delusional, saying, “You just told me you might marry Taylor, but you said you want to f*** every girl. I think he's a lost f***ing soul.”

Whitner Slagsvol appears to be caught between Allie and Venita, with Bravo saying shifting feelings and growing rumors complicate his position. Rodrigo Reyes, Patricia Altschul, and Charley Manley are also slated to appear this season.

Bravo's press release describes a season where “the Charmers are determined to define their relationships and mend wounds” after an ambiguous reunion, but warns that “juicy rumors catch fire.”

Southern Charm season 12 premieres Thursday, November 12, at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo. Episodes stream the next day on Peacock.
