Shane Gillis returns to 'SNL' for third time
The comedian hosts tonight with Rosalía as musical guest, two months after 'Tires' season three.

Shane Gillis will host "Saturday Night Live" tonight, Oct. 11, his third time in the role. Page Six reports the standup comedian's return comes two months after the third season of his Netflix sitcom "Tires" dropped, and ahead of his appearance in a "Madden" biopic coming to Prime Video in November.
Gillis was hired and then quickly fired from "SNL" in 2019 after videos of him using racial slurs resurfaced. Since then, he has returned to host the sketch show, making his third appearance in four seasons tonight, Page Six reports.
Ahead of tonight's show, "SNL" released promos featuring Gillis and cast member Veronika Slowikowska. Spanish popstar Rosalía will be the musical guest, her second time in that role after appearing in 2022, per Page Six.
The episode airs live coast-to-coast at 11:30 p.m. ET / 8:30 p.m. PT, with possible delays for college football, as happened with the season premiere. Without cable, viewers can stream it free via a five-day DIRECTV trial, or a seven-day Peacock Premium trial. Peacock also streams new episodes in full on Sunday mornings.
