Kim Kardashian Reveals Her 'Nanny Rotation' Setup

Us Weekly reports from a Saturday, Oct. 3 profile in U.K.'s The Times that Kim Kardashian keeps a specific nanny system for her four children with Kanye West.

The Setup

Kardashian has one nanny on duty and four on rotation, per the profile. She has primary custody of daughters North, 13, and Chicago, 8, and sons Saint, 10, and Psalm, 7.

The Daily Routine

She makes an effort to take her children to school every day and pick them up, while also having dinner with them every night.

"I think I am an intermediate-strict parent. I'm extremely patient and loving. I still have a kid sleep in my bed when they want. I read books with the kids every night."

Fame and Music

Kardashian reflected on exposing her children to fame after North released her debut EP N0rth4evr earlier this year.

"I do worry about it. Each kid does what they're comfortable with. So, my little ones come around when I'm filming but they don't really do storylines. North loves it a little bit more than the rest. I hold her back."

She said she and West have better communication about North's music projects and make sure they are aligned on what she does.

Kardashian and West divorced in 2021 after seven years of marriage. Their eldest daughter's interest in music has reportedly improved their co-parenting relationship. Kardashian told sister Khloé earlier this year that she is an empathetic person and that they are always family, regardless of what happens.

"The music side and the producing isn't my thing, and that's her bonding thing with her dad," Kardashian said on a 2025 episode of the "Call Her Daddy" podcast, per Us Weekly. "Even just coming up with stuff, we have to communicate about how North moves through that world and all these opportunities that come her way and having to filter that and respecting his opinion on the things that go on with his kids is really important."
