Eli Raridon Exits Game with Injury After Announcing Baby Loss

The Patriots rookie left Sunday's win over the Bills with an ankle injury, days after he and his wife Anna shared the loss of their infant son.

Patriots tight end Eli Raridon left Sunday's game against the Bills with an ankle injury, Us Weekly reports. He was marked questionable and did not re-enter the contest.

The game came less than a week after Raridon and his wife Anna announced the loss of their baby son, Peter James Raridon, who was born Sept. 11. Anna shared on Instagram that he had been diagnosed with anencephaly, a fatal condition.

"Our little one was diagnosed with anencephaly, a fatal condition in which he would not survive outside the womb," Anna wrote.

Anna added that she was grateful to have loved him deeply and that he will forever be part of their story. The couple married in May 2025 and announced their pregnancy in March.

New England beat Buffalo 29-26 to improve to 2-2. Raridon caught two passes for 12 yards before his injury. He had also been listed as questionable coming into the game with a thigh issue. The team has not issued an update on his ankle condition.

The Patriots next host the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, Oct. 11. It is not yet known if Raridon will be cleared to play.
