Aubrey O'Day on Diddy's Prison Life: 'Plenty of Baby Oil'
The Danity Kane singer joked about the rapper's reported lavish accommodations, and his team fired back.

Aubrey O'Day had some thoughts on Sean "Diddy" Combs' reported prison perks — and she didn't hold back.
In an interview with TMZ on Monday, Oct. 5, the 42-year-old singer joked about recent NBC News reports alleging that Diddy was living a high-roller life behind bars. "He's got whiskey, pizza, pasta, and Thai massages," O'Day said, per Us Weekly. "He's got Instagram."
"I'm sure they're giving him plenty of baby oil."
O'Day, who rose to fame on *Making the Band* season 3 as part of Diddy's girl group Danity Kane, also claimed he's running "freak-offs" in prison. She added that he "is not going to need for much" once he finishes his four-year sentence after a conviction on two counts of transportation for prostitution.
Diddy's team responded quickly. A spokesperson told Us Weekly in a statement Monday: "Sean is focused on serving his sentence and awaiting the court's decision on his appeal. We're not going to respond to every sarcastic remark made about him or pretend that jokes and recycled allegations are news."
The NBC News exposé — which reported that Diddy spent thousands of dollars a month on prison luxuries like cooks, cleaners and Chinese-style massages — prompted O'Day's remarks. Diddy's camp previously downplayed those claims, telling the outlet that "the media characterizes ordinary prison life as news."
The Backstory
O'Day and Diddy have a complicated history. She has previously alleged that he sent her sexually explicit emails, including photos, and that she was fired from Danity Kane in 2008 for "not participating sexually." Diddy has denied those allegations.
In Netflix's 2025 documentary *Sean Combs: The Reckoning*, a woman claimed in an affidavit to have witnessed Diddy rape O'Day in 2005. O'Day told CBS Mornings in December 2025 that she didn't recall the incident but verified the accuser's story had been consistent for two years. Diddy's spokesperson, Juda Engelmayer, denied the claim, saying "Mr. Combs categorically denies the allegations" and "has never sexually assaulted anyone."
Diddy was arrested in September 2024 on charges including sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy. He pleaded not guilty and was convicted in July 2025 on two counts of transportation for prostitution, receiving a four-year sentence. He is currently serving time at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey, with TMZ reporting earlier this month that he was returning to solitary confinement after the luxury-accommodation headlines.
